This was an interesting project for Two J’s! We installed two steel balconies for a beach front house down on the south coast. The steel for these balconies went through hot dip galvanising, which involves immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc.
Being directly by the sea brings many challenges for all kinds of building work, so we have taken precautions to ensure longevity of the steel.
