Our expertise lies in fabrication of structural steelwork. We have a large open floor plan of our workshop with overhead crane. This allows us to operate large section sizes weighing anything up to one tonne per individual beam. The team has years of experience being both in the workshop and out on site installing the steelwork.
We have the expertise to adjust fabrication to benefit the installation process. This eliminates any delays on site and ensuring a quick and easy assembly. Backing up our experience is the fact that all our processes comply with CE Marking BS EN 1090 as shown by our certification below.
We offer a full range of structural steelwork. Whether its small jobs that may only comprise of a few beams, or large buildings formed of many inter connected members to create the final structure.
Structural Steelwork
An example of one of our common jobs showing a portal frame fronted steel structure tying back to the existing building via a ridge beam connection. This assembly of steelwork provides a support frame for the following block work construction to be built from. We often phase our steelwork supply to allow the other trades to get their work to the same stage allowing the job to progress evenly. Some jobs may take multiple visits to fit around the other trade’s plans.
Installation Service
Our trusted installation team have many years’ experience in the industry, delivering efficient and professional service to all our customers.As part of our service we can offer site welding and alterations to steelwork as each team are fully prepared with welding equipment and covered by coding’s, weld testing and certifications to suit. We also offer site surveys to provide risk assessments, method statements and lifting plans by our authorised persons.
Crane Operations
When working on site with cranes our teams are complete with qualified banksman and slinger signallers. The majority of our steel installation jobs require a crane to lift the sections into place. Crane usage is something we are very familiar with because of this, therefore we often organise the crane as part of our service to suit the lift plan and method statement supplied for that particular job.
